Guild School: Our club actively supports a wide variety of charitable events throughout the year. In the spring we participate in the annual citywide penny drive for the Guild School , which provides funds for children with special needs. This year the drive was very productive, raising over $170,000. We helped collect donations and then drove to the school, loaded to the "hilt", with pennies to drop off. We'll be involved again next year.
Les Schwab Food Drive: Each year we support this event with cars at locations to collect food donations. Additionally, we pick up and deliver donations from a local food supplier. Typically, Our Club is responsible for food donations in excess of 600 pounds annually.
Run For Life & Scholarship Fund: During the summer we supported the "Run For Life" event that raises money for cancer patients and several Inland Northwest Car Club Council activities that raise money for scholarships.
Special Causes: Our club donates funds to senior citizen homes and other causes as the need arises. After the attack on September 11, 2001, we donated money to a special fund to help firefighter families that lost members on that day.
Making Christmas Better: As the year draws to a close, we sponsor several families to help make Christmas a better time. During this period we also donate to the Salvation Army or the Spokesman Review Christmas fund.
