About “Wild Filly”
The
story of Jana and Mel's 2005GT

Jana's car
was ordered in May of 2004 from Wendle Ford. Like waiting for a birth, the
delivery was painstaking and slow. Finally her new Windveil Blue Mustang arrived December 29th,
2004. Jana promptly named it “Wild Filly”.
Wild Filly’s existence was always intended to be a continuous process of
evolution as time and finances permitted. To date there have been 49
modifications, the first of which was the addition of the hood scoop and hood
pins. Other major modifications include: 18 inch chrome Shelby wheels with
z-rated tires, SLP Loud Mouth exhaust system, BBK 62mm throttle body & cold air
kit, Sequential turn signals, LED undercar blue lighting, an SCT “chip reflash”
and installation of drilled and slotted rotors with caliper covers.
Jana and Mel's GT was part of the Inland Empire Mustang Club's annual display at the March 2010 Spokane Auto Boat Speed Show. Naturally, it received a trophy and was also one of the contributing factors that led to our club being honored as having the best club display at the show.

While at the 30th International Mustang Meet in Billings Montana we decided to give "Wild Filly" a workout on the dyno. It was a hot day but she still made 345 horses.
