About “Junior”
The story of Sue Ragons'  1967 Coupe

My “Sports Sprint” coupe was purchased on August 25, 1967 from the McCollum Ford Ranch in Spokane. The lucky salesman was Bud Claymon.

It all came about one day when I drove this car over to Steptoe, Washington with the salesman to show my dad the car as he was paying for it (yes, I was a lucky daughter).

My dad was harvesting dry peas so I had to drive into the field about 2 blocks so he could see me.  He quickly parked the combine and came over to check out the Mustang.  He pulled out his checkbook and wrote the check on the hood of this car.  Me and “Junior” have been together ever since.

“Junior” was my first car and was a daily driver for the first 22 years.  All the glass is original.  Other than the drivers seat upholstery, the Interior is all original.  I still have all the documentation, original license plates with “McCollum Ford Ranch” frames, hub caps and floor mats.

A few years ago Terry Rattray removed and then detailed the engine.  At that time he also repainted the entire car.  Thanks Terry!
