Great news to share - Records were set!

This is an update on the Hot Wheels Car Show for charity on August 3rd. We raised more money for charity that day than in the 24 years of the show. A total of over $5,040 will be going to charity just from that show. Members of the IEMC and all those that attended can be very proud of what that will do for our community. Additionally, we had at least 193 cars on the show field. That was also a record! Over 50 IEMC members were involved in making it come together. From all of us involved thanks again to all that came and all that helped make it such a success. Extra special thanks to Andy Kautzman and his family for all their support. Andy led the effort to celebrate 60 years of Mustangs, plus donated very cool plaques celebrating 60 years of Mustangs for every Mustang entered. His family furnished water, ice and drinks and special gifts for kids. There even was a “Kids Pick” special award. There were a lot of smiling faces that day. It was all about camaraderie within the car club community and other folks that made it a fun day for all. Stay tuned for next year because from this experience we learned things that will make it even better. ​​
